What an experience! now I'm a pretty cool headed guy who can do most extreme experiences but this one was something special. Being so low in the water going over grade 3 rapids was incredible. Getting splashed by towering waves and zooming down the river so quickly. It might look a bit daunting but these guys are so professional and safety conscious. They can spot someone going in the wrong direction before they notice themselves. Don't worry about the temperature either, if anything I was a little hot! nice thick wetsuits provided did the job. Thank you so so much team! best activity in Queenstown for sure and so unique!
This was a unique and thoroughly enjoyable experience. Neil and his crew were friendly, fun and competent. Even though it gets the adrenaline pumping, with 3 safety guides I never once felt in danger. The (optional) cliff jump at the end was fun and the supplied lunch after the trip a welcome surprise!
My wife and I went to New Zealand for our honeymoon and we did almost every activity there was in queenstown. Our favorite by far was Riveboarding. It was such a unique experience. Our guide Dallas was so fun which made the experience so memorable and the rest of the crew was amazing as well. Truly would love to go back just to do this again!
Great trip with the Riverboarding team. Super fun, super friendly and even managed to organise for it to be super sunny for our float down the Kawarau too! Didn't even feel cold for a second! Would definitely recommend :)
An unique adrenaline filled day! It was 10/10 more exciting than white water rafting, your completely in the water! The guides were great crack and we even got to cliff jump. The water was fresh but the wetsuits did their jobs. When else would your get the chance to board down white water rapids!! A must do. We went just after lockdown as a group of 10 and everyone was pumped. The Riverboarding team were so passionate about getting people out there on the river they took us out with a donation of what we could give. Unreal kindness during a tough time for everyone. Thank you Riverboarding team :) you're absolute legends!
